Sisters of the Storm, a chamber opera

“Sisters of the Storm,” is a 90-minute chamber opera that delves into the complexities of intergenerational trauma and the struggle for healing within an all-female Asian American family. Cordelia, a queer Chinese American woman attempts to reunite with her estranged family, only to find her mother lost in the grips of dementia and convinced she is King Lear. Can the family break the cycle of the past, or are they destined to repeat it?
